Seung Ho wasn’t known for being out-going, but he often appeared that way in interviews and on TV shows with his former group mates. So some people mistook him to be like that when he wasn’t around them, and it led some to believe that he was a snob. At times it even happened with those that watched him on TV and were certain that they knew him; they knew a bit about him, but he didn’t know them (and that was the problem). It was nerve wrecking for him to talk to strangers; he usually didn’t know what to say, and in haste said something stupid, or just said nothing at all. He dodged the organisers of the masquerade that were setting up others that had come without a date. “I’m meeting someone inside,” he insisted, and they easily believed him. After several minutes of wandering around aimlessly and trying to avoid the crowds he spotted someone familiar. Certain that it was a person he knew; he gently tapped the man on the shoulder. When the man turned around he quickly lifted up his own mask to momentarily reveal his face.
<br><br>
“Hey, it has been a while,” he greeted with a grin and looked around the area; his friend Sang Kyu appeared to be alone. “And strangely you don’t have someone beside you, what is this, Lee Sang Kyu without a date?” he teased with a small smirk as he casually crossed his arms. His smirk slowly faded as he instead raised a brow, curious. “Or are you waiting for someone?”
His friend and former group mate asked him the same question, and didn’t like his answer, “…No.”
<br><br>
Sang Kyu had said something along the lines of “It will be fine.” Though he still wasn’t sure about it, he trusted his friend, and (after he put his mask back on) he let Sang Kyu push him over to the tables where the organisers wrote a number down on the hands of those that volunteered to be set up with someone. Unlike the others that had volunteered, he was less than enthusiastic about it all. He felt unsettled to his stomach; most people called it butterflies, but it felt more like a washing machine swishing everything around. As he watched the woman as she wrote a number on his hand with permanent marker he felt his heart thumping hard against his chest. What if he was paired up with someone that despised him, or bullied him in school? Those thoughts terrified him. Forty one; almost the answer to life, but not quite. Once they were out of ear-shot he chuckled to himself over his joke and set out to find Sang Kyu again.
<br><br>
Unfortunately his friend wasn’t alone; he had a “friend” accompanying him; a lady not much shorter than them. She pointed at him and Sang Kyu spun around to talk to him again. The woman with Sang Kyu walked over to join the conversation and folded her arms across her chest. Before Sang Kyu could speak Seung Ho had already opened his mouth, “Forty one, almost the answer to the universe.” He quickly covered his mouth, stopping himself from chuckling at his weak joke. “Though there don’t seem to be too many people here at the moment, if we split up we could cover more space and if we find your match and you don’t like them—but don’t give your number away to them—we could always change your number.” Although the mask covered most of her face, her lips had curved into a smirk and her eyes narrowed mischievously as she grabbed a pen from the small clutch in her hand. “We can do that?” he asked, bewildered.
“Of course we can, just keep it our secret, okay?” She winked at him with a grin.
<br><br>
The three split up; Sang Kyu going with Seung Ho, and Joo Hyun by herself. After several unforgettable (but regrettable) conversations, Seung Ho and Sang Kyu were called over by Joo Hyun. Seung Ho’s voice got caught in his throat as he spotted the woman that she had been talking to; she seemed slightly familiar. Before he could back out Sang Kyu had already escorted him over to both ladies. “This is Jung Ah.” Joo Hyun smiled brightly as she introduced the lady next to her. “And that is Sang Kyu and Seung Ho.” She gestured to them both as she spoke. Jung Ah, the cute actress that he had met and embarrassed himself in front of was the person that he had been partnered up with? “Hi,” Seung Ho said quietly, as he fixed his tie (which didn’t need any fixing; he just needed something to fiddle with). Joo Hyun made her way over to Sang Kyu. “Should we stay and make sure he doesn’t go running off anywhere?” she asked him in a whisper, while Seung Ho attempted to talk to Jung Ah. It wasn’t that he didn’t want to; he was scared. He fiddled with the collar of his dress shirt while he prepared himself to speak. “H-hi, how have you been since we last saw each other?” he asked politely, thankful that the mask on his face covered up his flushed cheeks.

NTROPY may have made him a household name, along with the other four members, but Lee Seung Ho is not a person who looks down on others for their class, gender, job, race, sexuality, etc. His mother raised him to be open-minded. He got along well with most of his former label mates (only the guys, as he was too scared to talk to the girls, and when they did talk to him he would freeze up, not knowing what to say next). He really wanted to talk to them, though he was afraid of them laughing at him, at his accent. Since it was what had happened when his family had moved to the city; which didn’t help his shyness at all and made him insecure of it. It takes him a while to feel comfortable around people, but once he does, getting him to shut up can be a problem, depending on the person. He is still very much the humble farm boy, that thinks of himself as no better than others, and always treats a lady right (even though he can’t speak to her and just stares). Romance is something rather foreign to him; he has seen it on TV, but he hasn’t experienced it. Finding someone to love is hard when you can’t talk to people of the gender that you’re attracted to. When it comes to women he is a big pushover; he may not talk to them, but if they ask him to do something, he has trouble refusing (mainly because he can’t talk, but also because he would feel bad if he refused by ignoring them, as he can’t speak up to them). He feels as if he owes them. Thankfully his friends have come to his rescue on more than one occasion and intervened, standing up to the girl that took advantage of his help. It’s hard, but he is trying to mend his door mat ways (with the assistance of his friends).
Unlike the shy, reserved side a lot of people see to him, around friends and family, Seung Ho is quite the lively and funny type of person, as well as sweet. He has been likened to a teddy bear often for his natural cuteness—though sometimes he does put it on and go a bit over the top for variety shows to make others laugh. He is willing to make others laugh by making a fool of him; to see others happy makes him happy (especially if they are near and dear to him). Used to his NTROPY days, he gets lonely easily, as he no longer has the guys around as much.

Lee Seung Ho—a name made famous thanks to NTROPY—though he still is very much a country boy at heart. He was born and grew up in rural South Korea; the youngest of four siblings (three older brothers). His brothers already of school age when he was born left them with little time to spend together, while his father worked in the fields, leaving his mother home to maintain the house and look after little Seung Ho. As such he grew closer to his mother than any other member of his family; she would sit him on her lap while she played the piano and taught him how to read the music books. In return, he would help her with small things around the house (when he wasn’t accidentally getting in the way by falling into the basket of clean clothes; at which his mother just laughed and cuddled him). He was the little boy that charmed the pants/skirts/dress off of every woman he met, even if he was too shy to utter a single word to them. Before he was five he had started to learn to play the piano and traditional Korean instruments—one being the Gayageum—via a tutor. Although his mother introduced him to music, he came to love it without any forcefulness from her. Soon enough he was also hooked on musicals. With his mum’s help—designing costumes and helping him come up with a story and songs—he made his own musicals, and performed them in front of her and her friends.
<br><br>
Unfortunately he wasn’t as close to his father or brothers, even when it was time for him to go join them at school. Unlike his siblings, he enjoyed school. There wasn’t a subject that he didn’t find interesting—even though he wasn’t so good at English—though it was no surprise that his favourite subject out of them all was music. It was noticeable to the teacher as well that he had a passion for it, just by the way he spent extra time after the bell had rung—he didn’t wanted to leave—and the look on his face when he entered the class room. Other than coming from the same family, the poor boy had nothing in common with his three elder brothers or father, which made it harder for them to bond when all they wanted to do was play sports in awful weather. Sometimes he tried to join in, but after being tackled into the mud, he didn’t really want to spend his time playing such competitive games. Other times he had no choice and they would drag him along with them. Luckily for him there was always dinner time; he helped his mother to cook and set the table, which became his excuse to get away from them when they tried to keep him. At least he got along with his class mates better.
<br><br>
Just as Seung Ho was entering middle school his mother fell ill; diagnosed with breast cancer. To pay for her treatment they had to sell their farm, which had been in the family for generations and move into a more affordable home closer (but not too close) to Seoul. An outcast in school (teased mainly by girls who thought that he was cute until he spoke—as his accent was rather strong) and home—he kept in touch with the few friends he had back at his old home, mainly his former music teacher. He still enjoyed the music lessons at his new school, but not nearly as much, especially with his mother in hospital. Every day after school he would stop by the hospital to visit her for a few hours, while his father was working and his brothers were still at school. It was incredibly hard for him to leave her there. All throughout the school day—even in his favourite class—he would just think about his visit with her and hope that she was still getting better. Though he lacked the money to buy her anything to cheer her up and liven up her room at the hospital, he made things for her at school—a photo frame in his art class, which he put a photo of the family in to. It wasn’t extravagant, but he knew his mother, and that she would love it either way.

To say that he was thrilled to have her home was a huge understatement. He made banners to welcome her home, organised for their friends from the country-side to come visit, and even made food for everyone. Their house may have been smaller than and not as cosy as their old place, but with familiar faces it felt like home. In the two weeks after his mother’s return, his father slowly began to change, at least to the boys. Their dad was a lot quieter than usual, and when he did, it was often to scold them. While the quartet had never been close, the boys discussed it in private, worried about him. They had all noticed that something was off. When confronted, he snapped at them, right before he caved in and told them what was on his mind. They barely had money to put food on the table and pay for schooling. Other than finding out about their mother’s illness, it was one of the rare times he had seen them all cry through his life. The boys tried to help their father out, by taking care of the house and their mother when they got home from school. Knowing that his family was suffering, and with limited options, he reached out to his old music teacher. It didn’t take long until he got an email back.
”Seung Ho-yah,
I am so sorry that I can not be there for you to help you through your troubles. You are a bright and very talented student, especially when it comes to music. I am sure that you could think of something using that to help your parents.”

It took him a while before an idea came to him. At school he had heard of other children speaking of entertainment companies going to schools looking for new talent, and some kids going to the companies to audition. Determined, he told himself “I can do it”. He practised longer, and challenged himself, even learning a few dance routines (he wasn’t a dancer by any means, but he managed to pull the few dances off).
<br><br>
His family found it strange that he had locked himself away in his room when not at school, though he had no intention of telling them about what he was doing. Seung Ho knew what his father and brothers would not only thing, but say. Filled with nerves about it, he hadn’t set a date for when he would audition yet… at least until his new music teacher announced that a few scouts from one of the entertainment companies would be coming to see what kind of talent the school had. “When, teacher?” a student asked. “In two weeks.”
He felt sick to his stomach; it was a great opportunity, but he didn’t feel ready. There were plenty of other times to audition as well, but time was running out. His family were in need; they needed it.
Only twenty passed the first round of auditions; the second fifteen. For the next round all were required to perform in front of an audience. Going by the audience’s responses they narrowed them down to five. He knew unlike a lot of his peers he lacked in dancing; he wasn’t terrible, but the wiped the floor with him. Seung Ho was certain that he wouldn’t make it, even though he really wanted to. When he stepped up onto the stage it felt just like the old days, when he had put on performances for his mother and her friends. While he wasn’t the best dancer, he made up for it with his singing and energy up on the stage. The more the crowd cheered, the more comfortable he felt and the livelier he got. Thanks to the audience he had passed. Though the struggle wasn’t over yet, his trainee days had only just started.
<br><br>
After school he would head to the Omega building to practise, passing other trainees in the hallways, some of who were incredibly friendly and slightly hyper. It was a bit of a shock for him at first, but a much refreshing change from the usual awkward silences. Seung Ho tried not to talk so much to help hide his accent. The more the two boys talk, he found himself opening up to the other a bit. When he revealed his accent he had been afraid of being ridiculed; surprisingly (for him) the other trainee thought that it was rather cool. At seventeen (just a few months older than the other boy) they were both placed into the same group, NTROPY. Sang Kyu as the main vocalist, and himself as the lead vocalist. Already great friends, Seung Ho was incredibly relieved to be working with someone that he knew. It helped to ease his transition into the group. They were at the top of the game; two mini albums and one full album within four years. Then things turned sour. Omega had dropped someone dear to Jae Beom, and so he left. Tragedy struck Min Ki’s life and he left for two years of military service. Sang Kyu was pulled out of the group for a solo debut; though a part of Seung Ho wished it was only temporary, or to keep the fans happy. He held onto that hope, until after Sang Kyu—now known as Polaris— released his first digital single and there was no mention of bringing NTROPY back. He was happy for his group mates—that they had all moved on, and figured that it was time he did too. Having acted in dramas when he was still in NTROPY; he decided to switch over to Sae Guk as an actor. That way he could act, and still sing from time to time as well (though it wasn’t the same without the other guys). He holds no ill feelings towards the former group mates, and keeps in contact with the majority of them (especially Sang Kyu).

<h2>Chapter 1</h2><br>
"Oh mai gosh!" Jaw Beam scremed as he saw a rat.<br >"Dun worri, I got dis!" Thank You smirked as he strutted over and threw at pot at the poor creature. It missed, by a long shot. Thank You just shrugged, "Well, what can you do?" He jutted his hips out and placed his hands on them. "I have better things to do!" After shaking his head (his hair swishing side to side) he turned around in his hot pink high heels and strutted back out of the room."Where did Thank You get those heels from?" Mon Key asked, raising a brow at Jaw Beam.<br >"I 'unno, but I wan' a pear." Jaw Beam pouted as he fluttered his eyelashes.<br >"La'ers!" The boy shouted after them before the front door closed.<br>The rat was shortly forgotten as Jaw Beam forced Mon Key to help him search through Thank You's room for any high heeled shoes that he could wear. "Eww, dats grouse!" Jaw Beam tossed one of Thank You's smelly old shirts at Mon Key, who backflipped (sort of like Neo from the Matrix) to get out of the way. It was so putrid that it would be more effective than using gas to knock people out. "Babe, be careful where you throw that stuff!" He frowned as he folded his musclee arms (like the manly man he is). "Oh, I'm sorreh honay," Jaw Beam sighed as he lokked up at Mon Key, who had a burning passion in his eyes. "I wan' choo." He licked his lips as if he were hungry. "I want choo to get me kimchi."
<br><br>Their mission was cut short as Jaw Beam had to cook for his beloved husband; he couldn't let "Mon Key wonkey donkey" starve. "I love it when you cook," Mon Key sighed dreamily as he hovered behind Jaw Beam, his hands on his hips, gently swaying them. While Mon Key wasn't looking, an annoyed Jaw Beam put extra pepper into the kimchi. All he had wanted to do was find where Thank You got those darn heels from! Hmph! "Stop that, I can't concentrate!" he huffed as Mon Key stuck his nose close to the stove, trying to get closer to the food to smell it better. Jaw Beom smacked his husband with the wooden spoon he had in his hands. Mon Key ignored Jaw Beam, instead smacking his butt. His face was red with anger, but Jaw Beam managed to hold it in until the kimchi was ready. In rage, he ripped off Mon Key's shirt and started to smear the kimchi on his chest.<br>"Thank you is at school~" Mon Key winked at Jaw Beam, and he pushed the other man up against the table. He ripped Beamie's pants off and smeared it on his bottom. "Ah~" Jaw Beam pulled Mon Key into his arms and kissed him passionately. "OMFG!" screamed Thank you from the kitchen archway; haunted by the image of the floor, walls, table, chairs, and them covered in kimchi while making out. Both parents turned around, frozen in shock at the sight of their son and the tears in his eyes. "I'm runnen' awey!" huffed Thank you as he ran to his room to quickly pack his bags.<br>"How could you?" Jaw Beam sobbed as he hit Mon Key as hard as he could in the arm. Lost for words, Mon Key just stared at his lover, but Jaw Beam got up and tried to stop Thank You. Thank you was unfortunately already finished and slammed the door shut behind him.<br>
